Window Replacement Contractors
As a Milgard Window dealer, you can trust Sure Guard Construction with your window replacement needs. What most customers are concerned with are energy efficient options that won’t break the bank and as a direct dealer we’ve got you covered. What most people don’t think about when it comes to windows replacement is the installation methods and materials. All of our window replacement technicians have been through extensive training through AAMA certification. Using methods (A) and (B), where we remove the old window completely, install a bottom pan that keeps your sill from ever rotting, cut back your interior trim as needed, and then install the window back caulking the flange so that water and air can never penetrate. Then we properly flash around the window to tie into your current WRB (weather resistant barrier) so that you can rest assured that you’ll never have a leak.
Many window replacement companies cut directly around the windows, cut back the interior trim as needed and then remove the flange from the window (which increases the likelihood of water penetration exponentially), butt the window directly to the interior trim and screw it in from the inside. Although this method is widely used and very fast it means that the only thing keeping water out is caulking.
The final thing to consider when it comes to window replacement is the millwork and siding around the window and we’ve got that covered as well since our installation specialists are trained on all types of siding, trim and interior millwork. For your window replacement needs Sure Guard offers our own SureShield lifetime warranty on the installation as well as the windows installed.
How much Does Window Replacement Cost?
Using the methods we’ve discussed and not the (quick and easy) that many contractors use, many companies will charge $1500 to $2,000 per window for vinyl windows, but since Sure Guard has perfected this technique and has in house technicians we are able to do it for far less.
Depending on the window size and material chosen (vinyl, fiberglass, or wood) Sure Guard will typically be half of what other window replacement companies charge.
As a certified replacement specialist company, Sure Guard is focused on making sure that your needs are taken care of as well as your aesthetic wants while value engineering each replacement so that you don’t pay more than you have to.
